There are about 24 miles of State roads located in the Township that are maintained by the PA Department of Transportation (PennDOT) as follows:
- Route 10 (Twin County Road north of Honey Brook Borough, Compass Road south of Honey Brook Borough)
- Route 322 or Horseshoe Pike
- Cambridge Road*
- Chestnut Tree Road
- Isabella Road
- Maple Street (from the Honey Brook Borough line to the intersection with White School and Pleasant View Roads)
- Morgantown Road (between Chestnut Tree and White School Roads)
- South Birdell Road
- White School Road
State Roads are broken up into "segments" for identifying areas that need repair. To see the State Road Segment map for Chester County, click here. Referring to the segment number will help PennDOT find the portion of the road you are reporting faster.

PennDOT has a complete list of construction projects impacting state-owned highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties on its site, the District 6 Traffic Bulletin.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 state roadway miles, including winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting 511PA. This website, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 700 traffic cameras.
* Cambridge Road Project
Allan Myers, under contract with PennDOT, will be performing milling and paving work in Honey Brook Township in summer 2026. All work will be completed at night. The revised dates for this project, from Rte. 322 west to the County Line, are as follows:
- Monday, July 6, through Tuesday, July 14, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Cambridge Road between Route 322 (Horseshoe Pike) and the Lancaster County Line in Honey Brook Township for base repair (confirmed 7/1/2026).
- Milling: July 15-17
- Paving: July 16-21
