Stormwater Management

Under the terms of the federal NPDES Phase II stormwater management permit, the Township offers residents and business owners links to information on how to better manage stormwater runoff and reduce impacts on local water quality.  For more information on the permit program for MS4 (municipal separate storm sewer systems) or on other techniques to maintain water on your property and improve water quality, please see the following links:

In addition, the Chester County Conservation District runs Best Management Practice (BMP) tours to various sites that utilize the most up-to-date technology and systems for protecting streams and waterways with innovate on-site methods.  For more information see here.
